Configuring your SMDR output
The Mitel Imagination phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. You will need to directly connect a serial cable from the Mitel Imagination phone system to the PC that NetPBX software is installed and running on.

Installing NetPBX
To collect the data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus, you will first need to install the NetPBX software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Configuring TIM Plus
Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on to TIM Plus as usual and apply the following settings:
- Click on the Directory tab.
- Select the site configured during the setup wizard and clickProperties.

- Within the Site Properties window, select Mitel Imagination from the PBX model drop-down list.
- In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
- Click on the Save button to apply the settings.

<h2>Configuring TIM Plus</h2>
<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your Mitel Imagination:</p>
<ol>
<li>Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
<li>Click on the <span class="button no_margin">Directory</span> tab.</li>
<li>Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>or create a new site and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>.</li>
