Configure the SMDR output

You will need speak with your phone maintainer to enable the SMDR output in your NEC NEAX phone systemBy default, the SMDR output of your NEC NEAX is not enabled. For more information about enabling and configuring the SMDR output, you should speak to your system maintainer.

If your NEC NEAX has been configured to send the data via TCP/IP, follow the steps below to configure TIM Plus:

1. Log on to TIM Plus as usual and click on Click on the Directory tab.
2. Select Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and clickProperties.

3. Within the Site Properties window, select NEC NEAX from the PBX model drop-down list.
4. In the Connection method field, select Actively connect to PBX from the drop-down list.
5. In the Host field, enter the IP address of your NEC NEAX.
6. In the Port field, enter in 2599.
7. Leave the Username and Password fields blank.
8. In the Connection script field, select Generic Simple from the drop-down list.
9. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
