Connecting to the CIL server

To connect to the CIL server on the System/UPI cards, TIM Plus opens establishes a TCP connection to the IP address of the System/UPI card of your Siemens phone system to the CIL port.

Configuring TIM Plus

1. Browse to TIM Plus as normal and log in with your credentials.
2. Click on the Directory tab.
3. Select the site configured during the setup wizard and click Properties.

4. Within the Site Properties window, select Siemens HiPath DX from the PBX model drop-down list.
5. In the Connection method field, select Listen for connections from PBX from Actively connect to PBX from the drop-down list.
6. Leave the Host field blank.
7. In the Port field, enter in 17257.
8. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
