When you first configure the system, a user group - called  Discovered Users - is created by default in the Directory. The function of the

folder is to pick up newly discovered extensions, and it should not be renamed or deleted from the Directorysystem. As you add your own groups in the Directory, extensions can be moved across from the Discovered Users folder into the newly created ones.

If you are using third party synchronisation, e.g. Cisco AXL, all user groups are being imported automatically, preserving the directory structure from the phone system.

If you are not using any directory synchronisation object, TIM Plus will not know what groups exist within your organisation. In this instance a Discovered Users folder is automatically added to the DirectoryNew extension that are not currently in the Directory are picked up by default in the

folder.

If you are using third party synchronisation (e.g. Cisco AXL), you will automatically pick up the User groups as they are configured in your phone system.

If you would like to To add additional groups yourself, click on theAddbutton at the top right-hand side of the Groups panel. A new window will appear, allowing you to add the name of the group 's name and the pilot/hunt number. Once you set these parameters, click on theAddbutton.
