Configuring a Channel group

To configure the Channel group's properties, select the group properties of a channel group, highlight the group you are interested in and click on the Properties button from at the top-right corner of the panel, as shown below:

This A new window will open a new window , where you can configure the properties of your Channel group:-

Each Channel group will require a name by which it can easily be identified. This channel group. Each tab in the Group properties window will be explained below:

tab you can enter a name for your channel group - this is normally related to the name by which it is referred to in your organisational directory - and the trunk access code, if applicable.

Channels in this group emulate network termination

This option is applicable Tick this box only if you have a call recording option in place . If your trunk is part of an ISDN group, it can be ignored. If the and if the currently selected trunk is part of a Private circuit, you will need to turn this on, by tickink the box next to it.

tab gives you the option allows you to decide whether you would like to exclude the Channel currently selected group from having calls being logged and/ or recorded against it (assuming a Magic box in place to allow recording)in the system - assuming a call recording device is attached to TIM Plus. If you do not want calls for this channel group to be logged, recorded or included in call statistics, tick the box provided:

NOTE: If channels are excluded from call statistics, they will not be counted when looking at call concurrency.

Tariff

Within TIM Plus , gives you have the ability option to cost different groups of channels at different rates. To apply a different tariff,  expand the drop-down list and selected select from the available options provided.

By default, TIM Plus is supplied with a standard BT tariff which will automatically pick up national, international and mobile dial codes. Bespoke tarfiffs tariffs can also be provided . For costing contact your supplier or sales@tri-line.com who can refer you to the appropriate person for pricing.

Renaming a Channel group

To rename a Channel channel group, highlight the group you want to amend locate the entity in the Directory and click on the Properties tab.

In the new window, highlight the current name and overwrite this with the new group name, then pressSaveRename the group and press Save to apply the changes.
