To enable TIM Enterprise to work with the Siemens OpenOffice, you first need to set up a DSN connection, by following the steps below:

    1. Open Windows Control Panel.
    2. Double-click on the Administrative tools icon.
    3. Double-click on the Data Sources (ODBC) icon to open the ODBC Data Source Administrator window.

  • Click on the System DSN tab.
  • Click on the Add button.
  • Select Native from the driver list and click Finish.
  • In the Data source name field enter Siemens OpenOffice.
  • Click on the OK button to save the changes.
    for a 64-bit system:
    Open Windows Explorer and type the following path in the address bar

      For a 64 bit system, access the ODBC Data Source Administrator window from the following location C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe

  • The ODBC Data Source Administrator window will open.
    1. Click on the System DSN tab.
    2. Click on the Add button.
    3. Select Native from the driver list and click Finish.
    4. In the Data source name field enter Siemens OpenOffice.
    5. Click on the OK button to save the changes.
