Setting up a DSN connection

To enable TIM Plus to work with your Skype for Business phone system, you first need to set up a DSN connection by following the steps below:

1. Open Windows Control Panel and select the

   Buttonmacro
   Label Administrative Tools

2. Double-click on the Data Sources (ODBC) icon to open the ODBC Data Source Administrator window

   For a 64 bit system, access the ODBC Data Source Administrator from the following location C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe

3. Click on the System DSN tab
4. Click on the Add button
5. Select SQL Native Client from the driver list and click Finish.
6. In the Name field, enter lync
7. In the Description field, enter TIM Plus
8. In the Server field, enter the IP address or hostname of your
9. In the Username field, enter the username for your
10. In the Password field, enter the password for your
11. In the Database drop-down list, select  
12. Click on the Test button to confirm the information you entered is correct and that the connection is successful
13. Click on the OK button to close the window
