Siemens HiPath 4000

<p>These instructions should assist in configuring your Siemens HiPath 4000 to 
work with TIM EnterprisePlus. If you are not familiar with PBX 
configuration, please contact your system maintainer.</p>

				The Siemens HiPath 4000 sends SMDR information via TCP/IP on a TCP port. TIM EnterprisePlus will connect to the IP address of Siemens HiPath 4000.

<p>For your SMDR configuration, you will need to speak to your system maintainer to enable SMDR output.</p>

<h2>Configuring TIM Enterprise<Plus</h2>

<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM EnterprisePlus to connect to your Siemens HiPath 4000 to receive SMDR:</p>

<ol>
	<li>Browse to TIM EnterprisePlus as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
	<li>Click on the <span class="button no_margin">Directory</span> tab.</li>
	<li>Go<li>Click theon the pointsite inconfigured the Directory where you need to add during the PBXsetup Objectwizard and add a PBX with the name 'Siemens HiPath 4000'.</li>
	<li>Left-click on it and select <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>.</li>
	<li>From the span>or create a new site and click <span class="button no_margin">General</span> settings tab select <span class="keyword">Siemens HiPath 4000</span> from the PBX model list>Properties</span>.</li>

	<li>In<li>Within the <span class="button no_margin">Connection<reference">Site Properties</span> tabwindow, select <span class="keyword">Establish>Siemens TCPHiPath connection4000</span> to PBX<from the <span class="reference">PBX model</span> from drop-down list.</li>
	<li>In the <span class="reference">Connection method</span> field select <span class="keyword">Actively connect to PBX</span> from the drop-down list.</li>
	<li>In the <span class="reference">Host</span> field enter in the IP Address of your Siemens HiPath 4000 e.g. 192.168.1.1.</li>
	<li>In the <span class="reference">Port</span> field enter in <span class="keyword">9000</span>.</li>
	<li>Leave the <span class="reference">Username</span> and <span class="reference">Password</span> fields blank.</li>
	<li>In the <span class="reference">IP>Connection script</span> field select <span class="keyword">Generic Simple</span> from the drop-down list.</li>
	<li>Finally, click on the <span class="button no_margin">Save</span> button.</li>
