<p>In certain installations, such as POS (point of sale), it is desirable to protect the call logger against unauthorised access from passers-by.  When a console user has been setup (see above), upon starting the call logging software, the user cannot perform any functions without first unlocking the console using the chosen password.</p>

<p>Unlocking is achieved by clicking the <span class="button">Unlock</span> menu item at the top-left of the call logging screen, as shown below.:</p>

<p>After entering the password successfully, the <span class="button">Unlock</span> menu item changes to <span class="button">Lock</span>, ready to be clicked on when the authorised user has finished his/her administration and wants to lock the application once more.</p>
