<p>Clicking on <span class="keyword">Tools ? Setup...</span> at the top of
the main screen takes you to the <span class="reference">Setup Screen</span>.</p>

<p>This screen appears as follows:</p>

<p>From here you can choose which configuration to edit, and save your changes at the
click of a button.</p>

<p>To begin, select the configuration you want to alter by choosing from the <span class="keyword">Choose a
configuration to alter</span> drop-down list.  These are:</p>

			<td class="confluenceTd">Setup the IP addresses of remote data clients and choose the unique ways these are handled.</td>

			<td class="confluenceTd">Allows you to localise the tariffs in order to ensure they cost correctly.</td>

		<tr>
			<td class="confluenceTd"><b>Sites</b></td>
			<td class="confluenceTd">We'd normally recommend upgrading to TIM Plus if logging multiple sites as it will be more cost effective and provide a lot more features.</td>

			<td class="confluenceTd">Assign custom names to specific or ranges of dialled numbers.</td>

		</tr>

			<td class="confluenceTd"><b>System</b></td>
			<td class="confluenceTd">Set general system parameters here, e.g. VAT, currency, Live stats etc.</td>

			<td class="confluenceTd">Assign multiple tariffs to different extension and trunk numbers.</td>

TabDescription
PBXContains the connection parameters for your telephone system.
LCRAllows you to set up your least-cost routing digits and point them to specific tariffs.
NetworkAllows you to configure your web, mail and Telnet server settings.
TariffsAllows you to localise the tariffs in order to ensure the cost is applied correctly.
SitesAllows you to configured the system to receive data from more than one telephone system; however, we strongly recommended our TIM Plus or Enterprise products if you have more than one telephone system.
LocationsAllows you to assign custom names to specific or ranges of dialled numbers.
Account codesAllows you to add or remove account codes and their associated names.
SystemAllows you to set general system parameters, e.g. VAT, currency, Live stats etc.
RoutingAllows you to assign multiple tariffs to different extension and trunk numbers.
DatabaseThis option was introduced purely for diagnostics and it is no longer in use.

The main configuration file

TIM Professional stores all its configuration settings into a file, named main.cfg, which is located by default in
