Configuring your SMDR output

To receive SMDR information from the configure SMDR settings on your BT Inspiration you will need to have a BT SystemPhone. You will need to System Phone and be familiar with programming via the BT SystemPhonehow to use it for system programming purposes. To enable the SMDR output, follow the steps below:

  1. From the programming position, press the phone set up setup key P and select System programming.
  2. Enter the PIN and select System.
  3. Select Call logging and choose Call logging on.
  4. Press HANDSFREE/MONITOR to finish configuring the system.

The BT Inspiration phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus, you will first need to install the NetPBX netpbx software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on in to TIM Plus as usual and apply follow the following settingssteps below:

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Select Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and click Properties.

  3. Within In the Site Properties window, select BT Inspiration from the PBX model drop-down list.
  4. In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
  5. Click on the Save button to apply the settings
