Configuring your SMDR output
By default, the SMDR output in the Avaya Meridian Option CDR output Series is disabled. You will need to speak to your system maintainer to have this enabled . They will need to enable CDR output for incoming, outgoing and internal calls. In addition to this for incoming calls they will need to enable CLI informationAdditionally, CLI, DNIS information, response time information and abandoned calls should be enabled for incoming calls.
You will need to configure one of the 'TTY' ports
ports on the
Avaya Meridian
Option Series to output
CDR information. You will then need to connect the serial cable from the 'TTY' port to the PC that NetPBX is installed and running on.The sections below document where to go to. Required entries are highlighted.SMDR information and connect a serial cable between this port and the PC running NetPBX.Using the following commands, configure each option as shown below:

Installing NetPBX
The Avaya Meridian Option Series sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus, you will first need to install NetPBX software,which then sends the SMDR to TIM Plusthe netpbx software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Configuring TIM Plus
Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on in to TIM Plus as usual and apply perform the following settingssteps below:
- Click on the Directory tab.
- Click on Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and click Properties.

<h2>Configuring TIM Plus</h2>
<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your Avaya Meridian M2250:</p>
<ol>
<li>Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
<li>Click on the <span class="button no_margin">Directory</span> tab.</li>
<li>Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>or create a new site and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>.</li>
