Configuring your SMDR output
By default, the SMDR output in the Avaya Meridian Option Series is disabled. You will need to speak to your system maintainer to have this enabled for incoming, outgoing and internal calls. In addition to this, for the incoming calls they need to enable CLI informationAdditionally, CLI, DNIS information, response time information and abandoned calls should be enabled for incoming calls.
You will need to configure one of the 'TTY' ports

Installing NetPBX
The Avaya Meridian Option Series sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus, you will first need to install the NetPBX netpbx software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on in to TIM Plus as usual and apply perform the following settingssteps below:
- Click on the tab.
- Click on Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and click .

- from the PBX model drop-down list.
- In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
