TIM Professional stores its call logging data in a standard Microsoft Access database file , (calls.mdb), located in the \calls subfolder

Backing Up - Block Copy

To back up your call data , without removing the calls from the database, it is sufficient to make a copy of the calls.mdb file. Alternatively, you can back up your calls from the application's interface.main interface, as described below:

1. Select File from the top-left menu bar and click on the

   Keywordmacro
   Label Save copy of call database as

   option, as shown below:

2. A new window will appear, allowing you to

1. choose the name of the file and the output location:

2. You will be asked whether you want to compress the database before saving the file. Compressing the database results in a slight speed degradation when the data is being imported back in the system; however, this is hardly noticeable with the specification of a modern PC.

Backing Up - Export

To back up your call data by removing the calls from the database, you can export any selected data to a file, which can be imported back in the system at a later stage, if required. The automatic archive function performs this

using the main interface, follow the steps below:

1. Select

   Referencemacro
   Label File

   from the top-left menu bar

1. and click on the Export Calls  option, as shown below:

2. The following window will appear, asking you to select the date range of the calls you want to export:

3. Enter the

   Referencemacro
   Label start

   and 

   Referencemacro
   Label end

   dates in the respective boxes, then click on the  Export button. If you want to export all calls from the database, select the All calls currently in database option.
