The Directory is the central administrative screen for TIM Plus, where place where all of your sites, groups, users and channels are configured. In here, objects can be added, moved around your organisation , or the individual properties of each can and be inspected and modified.
To access the Directory, just select the Directory tab from the main menu, as shown below:

If you are set up logged in as a Standard user with restricted access standard web user whose access is restricted to a specific group, the Directory tab will not be displayed and you will need to speal with your systems administrator for additional priviledges. For administrative privileges, contact your system maintainer. |
The Directory screen contains three separate panels: sites, groups and contents., as detailed below:
Sites
The
panel is located
on at the top
-left
-hand side of
your the Directory screen.
As well as being a hierarchical level of your directory, The function of a site
object is
expected to
provide acquire call logging data
into the TIM Plus system, therefore, you need to configure one site for each PBX from a telephone system, as well as serving as a representation of a hierarchical level in your organisation. TIM Plus allows
you to log up to 5 sitesthe logging of data from up to five telephone systems and a site object must be configured for each one.

Groups
The
panel is located
on at the top
-right
-hand side of
your screen. Groups are containers of either the Directory screen and contains groups of users (extensions)
or and channels (
telephone lines). To select the trunks), with each type of group
to administer, use the tab above the group regiondivided into separate tabs. By selecting a tab, all of the groups of that type will be displayed in the panel.
