The Directory is the central administrative screen for TIM Plus, where place where all of your sites, groups, users and channels are configured. In here, objects can be added, moved around your organisation and the individual properties of each can be inspected and modified.
To access the Directory, select the Directory tab from the main menu bar, as shown below:

If you are logged in as a standard web user with whose access is restricted access to a specific group, the Directory tab will not be displayed. For administrative privileges, you need to speak with contact your system maintainer. |
The Directory screen contains three separate panels: sites, groups and contents., as detailed below:
Sites
The
panel is located at the top-left of the Directory screen.
As well as being a hierarchical level of your directory, the site's object function is to provide call logging data in TIM Plus. If you have more than one telephone system, you need to configure one site for each PBX The function of a site object is to acquire call logging data from a telephone system, as well as serving as a representation of a hierarchical level in your organisation. TIM Plus allows
you to log the logging of data from up to five
sitestelephone systems and a site object must be configured for each one.

The
panel is located at the top-right of the Directory screen
. Groups are containers of either and contains groups of users (extensions)
or and channels (
telephone lines). To select the type of group you want to administer, click on the relevant tab at the top-left of trunks), with each type of group divided into separate tabs. By selecting a tab, all of the groups of that type will be displayed in the panel.
