Hardware
Any modern standalone PC will comfortably run a copy of NetPBX. The following specification are preferredNetPBX hardware requirements are very modest. This is a minimum specification of PC that we would recommend:
- 2 GHz Dual-Core x86/x86-64 CPU
- 1 GB memory
- 40 GB hard disk
- Ethernet TCP/IP network
- Serial RS232-C where required by PBX

NetPBX can be installed on any PC with running a Microsoft Windows 2000 - Windows 7 (Server editions up to 2003)Windows operating system later than Windows 7.
A web browser is required to operate the software and, whilst any standards-compliant browser should be compatible, we have extensively tested the following ones:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6+
- Microsoft Edge
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox 2+
- Apple Safari
- Google Chrome
- Opera
