Installing NetPBX

The NEC DXE phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the call logging data from the serial port of your NEC DXE and send it to TIM Plus, you will first need to install the NetPBX software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on in to TIM Plus as usual and apply perform the following settingssteps:

1. Click on the Directory tab.
2. Select Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and click Properties.

3. Within In the Site Properties window, select NEC DXE from the PBX model drop-down list.
4. In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
5. Click on the Save button to apply the changes.
