The BT Versatility outputs its SMDR data via a serial port. The default communication parameters for this serial connection are:

  • Speed – 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400 or

Configuring TIM Plus

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on in to TIM Plus as usual and apply follow the following settingssteps below:

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Select Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and click Properties.

  3. Within In the Site Properties window, select BT Versatility from the PBX model drop-down list.
  4. In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
  5. Cliick Click on the Save button to apply the settings.

<p>These instructions should assist in configuring your BT Versatility to work with TIM Plus. If you are not familiar with PBX configuration, please contact your system maintainer.</p>

<p>The interface to the printer or PC should be serial V24/RS232-C and should meet the following specifications: Speed &ndash; 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400 or 115,200 bps. Data - 8 bits (no parity).</p>

<h2>Configuring TIM Plus</h2>

<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your BT Versatility:</p>

	<li>Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
	<li>Click on the <span class="button no_margin">Directory</span> tab.</li>
	<li>Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>or create a new site and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>.</li>
