Configuring your SMDR output
For your SMDR configuration, please note that Aastra Intelligate Series has multiple output formats. For TIM Plus, the output needs to be configured to PC5 format.

OIP Server and TIM Plus
The OIP server has a very basic call logging module. If you intend to install TIM Plus alongside the OAI server, you will need to uninstall the call logging module from the OIP server suit, otherwise, when configuring your Aastra to output the data to the TIM Plus PC, the OIP server will overwrite it with its required settings.
Configuring TIM Plus
If your Aastra Intelligate has been configured to send the data via TCP/IP, follow the steps below to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data:
- Click on the tab.
- Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click
. - Within the Site Properties window, select Aastra PC5 from the PBX model drop-down list.
- In the Connection method field select Listen for connections from PBX from the drop-down list.
- Leave the Host field blank.
- In the Port field enter in 9000.
- Click on the button to apply the settings.
