Email

The Email section allows enter the details of your e-mail server, in order to enable TIM Plus to send out scheduled reports, call alarms, missed call notifications or system alerts.

Below you can find a description of all the fields that need to be filled in. You may need to consult your network administrator if you don't know any of the required information.

Fild name	Description
Server host & port	This is the address for your company's mail server. Enter in an IP address or DNS name and the port number, which by default is 25.
Greeting name	Many mail servers require a Greeting name to identify the computer that is sending the email. In most cases, this will be the network name of the server running TIM Plus.
"From" address	This value should be set to the email address of the user that emails will appear to be sent from.
Type	If your mail server requires authentication, select the method it uses from the list below. Choose None if the authentication is automatic or not used.
Username	Enter in the username of the SMTP authentication.
Password	Enter in the password of the SMTP authentication.
Test address	To verify your e-mail settings, enter an address to send a test email to.
