These instructions should assist in configuring your Aastra BP to work with TIM Enterprise. If you are not familiar with PBX configuration, please contact your system maintainer.

Connection type | Serial Output: As the Aastra BP sends SMDR information via a serial connection which is located on BP unit itself, you will need to directly connect a serial cable from the Aastra BP to the PC that NetPBX is installed and running on. |

Configuring your SMDR
BP firmware R12 or older
If you are using firmware which is older than R12 you need to setup the SMDR output to CIL3.
BP firmware R13+
If you are using firmware R13+ you will need to set the SMDR output to 'Flexible CIL' and configure the options as below:

Configuring TIM Enterprise
Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Enterprise to listen for SMDR data from your Aastra BP:
- Browse to TIM Enterprise as normal and login with your credentials.
- Click on the tab.
- Go the the point in the Directory where you need to add the PBX Object and add a PBX with the name 'Aastra BP'.
- Left-click on it and select .
- From the Aastra BP from the PBX model list. settings tab select
- In the No connection required from the Connection method list. tab select
- Finally, click on the button.
