Panasonic KX-TDA/E

These instructions should assist in configuring your Panasonic KX-TDA/E to work with TIM Enterprise. If you are not familiar with PBX configuration, please contact your system maintainer.

Connection information	Description
Connection type	Serial Output or IP: If you have configured your Panasonic KX-TDA/E to send SMDR information via a serial connection, you will need to directly connect a serial cable from the Panasonic KX-TDA/E PBX to the PC that NetPBX is installed and running on.
Cable configuration	Null-modem/Crossover.
IP method	TIM Enterprise will connect to the Panasonic KX-TDA/E via IP on a specific TCP port.

Configuring your SMDR

Below you will find instructions on how to configure your Panasonic KX-TDA/E to output SMDR to TIM Enterprise. You will need to do this from the Panasonic Maintenance Console program:

Login to the Panasonic Maintenance Console program.
On the left-hand side click on 11.Maintenance.
Now on the right-hand side you will see the SMDR options which you can configure by clicking on the SMDR tab, as shown below:

Now click on SMDR Options tab and configure the options as below:

Now click on the Apply button and then the OK button.

Configuring TIM Enterprise

Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Enterprise to listen for SMDR data from your Panasonic KX-TDA/E:

Browse to TIM Enterprise as normal and login with your credentials.
Click on the Directory tab.
Go the the point in the Directory where you need to add the PBX Object and add a PBX with the name 'Panasonic KX-TDA/E'.
Left-click on it and select Properties.
From the General settings tab select Panasonic KX-TD Series from the PBX model list.

In the Connection tab select Establish TCP connection to PBX from the Connection method list.
In the Host field enter the IP Address of your Panasonic KX-TDA/E.
In the Port field enter in 2300.
Leave the Username and Password fields blank.
In the IP script field select Panasonic from the drop-down list.
Finally, click on the Save button.
