To select a tariff table expand the drop-down menu at the left-hand side of the screen as shown below:
Once you've selected a particular tariff, a similar screen will appear:
Thebutton will allow you to set up the standard properties of the tariff for the selected entry.
A summary screen can be seen below:
Fild name | Description |
---|---|
Tariff title | The date the call was made on. |
Minimum dialled digits | The minimum number of dialled digits required for the call to be logged as a valid call. |
Minimum search digits | This is the minimum number of search digits required to start allocating a tariff to a call. TIM will work back from 10 in order to find the closest tariff match. |
International digits | The digits used to dial internationally e.g. All international calls made from UK begin with "00". |
Weekday rates | The hourly rates to apply to calls for each hour of the day on weekdays. For example, in the table below, Rate 2 applies from midnight to 7:59 am, Rate 1 applies from 8 am to 17:59 and Rate 2 applies from 18:00 to 23:59. To see the rates in more detail, simply click on the button to expand.Please note that the actual rate will be determined by the band dialled e.g. the cost of calls to mobile bands will generally be more expensive than mobile calls. |
Saturday rates | The hourly rates to apply to calls for each hour of the day on Saturdays. For example, in the table below Rate 3 applies at all times. To see the rates in more detail, simply click on the button to expand. |
Sunday rates | The hourly rates to apply to calls for each hour of the day on Sundays. For example, in the table below Rate 3 applies at all times. To see the rates in more detail, simply click on the button to expand. |
Rounding | Simply select whether you would like decimal places rounded up down or left at default. |
TIM Plus provides the option to re-cost calls. This means call data can be rerun applying the rates of a different tariff table. You have the option to select the new tariff you would like to apply as well as the period you would like to re-cost calls for. To do this, click on the
button, as shown below:In the new window that opens, choose the new tariff from the drop-down list and select the option to recost All calls or enter in a specific period.
When a tariff table is being updated, you will be able to check the current status. To do this, click on the
button.The following window will appear showing the title of the table being updated as well as the filename and file path. The call count will show the current number of calls that have been processed.
You can tell TIM Plus where you are based and localise your tariffs accordingly (e.g. if you are based in London, you will need to tell it so that all calls to surrounding areas are treated as local). To localise a tariff, click on the
tab, as shown below:The following window will pop-up. Enter your local dialcode, then click
. All surrounding area codes will automatically be added. Finally, click on the button at the bottom-right corner of this window to localise your tariff.
