As with extension numbers, TIM Professional automatically picks up unallocated trunk numbers as soon as they are used to make or receive a call. All newly-discovered trunks are placed in a group called New Trunks under the function button, as shown below:

The properties of each trunk can be edited afterwards, and subsequently they can also be organised into new trunk groups, if preferred.
