<p>These instructions should assist in configuring your Siemens HiPath DX to 
work with TIM Enterprise. If you are not familiar with PBX 
configuration, please contact your system maintainer.</p>

			<td class="confluenceTd"><b>CIL access over Ethernet: </b>
				In addition to CIL access over v.24 (Serial port), in all Realitis DX and iSDX systems with Software Revision 6.0 onwards, the System card or UPI card (Advanced Connectivity Interface (ACI)) allows remote 
				access to the CIL stream over the Ethernet. The CIL TCP server on the System/UPI cards allows a maximum of three concurrent connections from TIM Enterprise. When the three connections are in use, 
				subsequent connection requests are rejected. The default TCP listening port is 17257. Once a connection is established, the DX will begin sending packets to TIM Enterprise.

			<td class="confluenceTd">If the Siemens HiCom-HiPath is configured to send SMDR information via a serial connection, you will need to directly connect a serial cable from the Siemens HiCom-HiPath PBX to the PC

			<td class="confluenceTd">If the Siemens HiCom-HiPath is configured to send the SMDR information via TCP/IP the actual installation of TIM Enterprise can be anywhere on the network that the PBX is connected to. 
				The Siemens HiCom-HiPath will need to be configured to send the SMDR data to the IP address and TCP port that TIM Enterprise is listening on.

<h2>Configuring TIM Enterprise</h2>

<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Enterprise to listen for SMDR data from your Siemens HiCom-HiPath:</p>

<ol>
	<li>Browse to TIM Enterprise as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
	<li>Click on the <span class="button" id="list">Directory</span> tab.</li>
	<li>Go the the point in the Directory where you need to add the PBX Object and add a PBX with the name 'Siemens HiCom-HiPath'.</li>
	<li>Left-click on it and select <span class="button" id="list">Properties</span>.</li>
	<li>From the <span class="button" id="list">General</span> settings tab select <span class="keyword">Siemens HiCom-HiPath</span> from the PBX model list.</li>

	<li>In the <span class="button" id="list">Connection</span> tab select <span class="keyword">Listen for connection from PBX</span> from the <span class="reference">Connection method</span> list.</li>
	<li>In the <span class="reference">Port</span> field enter in <span class="keyword">9000</span>.</li>
	<li>Finally, click on the <span class="button" id="list">Save</span> button.</li>
