The Avaya Network Alchemy uses the Avaya Call Log software to configure the SMDR data. As the application will be outputting the data to a file, the installation of the Avaya Call Log software needs to be performed on the same machine as TIM Plus. If you don't have a A copy of the Avaya Call Log application , you should be able to get this from can be found on your Avaya Administration CD, otherwise speak to your . Your system maintainer and they should be able to supply you with a copy of the software.

Configuring Avaya Call Log

Please follow Follow the steps below instructions to configure the Avaya Call Log software:

1. Start the Avaya Call Log application.
2. From the File menu option, click on select Select Unit button.
3. In the first field, enter the IP address of your Avaya Network Alchemy.
4. In the second field, enter the password for your Avaya Network Alchemy and click the OK button.
5. Go back to the From the File menu option and click on , select Log Option. The  
6. From the Select Logging Information window will open.Click on  window, choose the Periodic radio button option.
7. Within the Log Filename field, enter the following: Type C:\program fileProgram Files\triTri-lineLine\tim plusTIM Plus\spool\data.{sitecode}. To find out what your  in the Log Filename field, replacing

8. Click on the OK button to apply the settings.

Configuring TIM Plus

Below you will find steps on how Follow the steps below to configure TIM Plus to receive SMDR data from your Avaya Network Alchemy:

1. Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.
2. Click on the Directory tab.
3. Click on Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and click Properties.

4. Within In the Site Properties window, select Avaya Network Alchemy from the PBX model drop-down list.
5. In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
6. Click on the Save button to apply the changes.
