The BT Monarch sends SMDR information via a serial connection. You will need to directly connect a serial cable from the BT Monarch phone system to a PC that will be running NetPBX software.

Installing NetPBX
The BT Inspiration phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus, you will first need to install NetPBX software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:
Configuring TIM Plus
Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on to TIM Plus as usual and apply the following settings:

- Select the site configured during the setup wizard and click

Configuring TIM Plus
Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your BT Monarch:
- Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.
- Click on the tab.
- Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click or create a new site and click .
- Within the Site Properties window, select BT Monarch from the PBX model drop-down list.
- In the Connection method field select No connection required from the drop-down list.
- Finally, click on the button.
