These instructions help you configure your LG GDK phone system to work with TIM Plus. Contact your system maintainer if you are not familiar with the configuration of your PBX.

Configuring your SMDR

The LG GDK phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. You will need to directly connect a serial cable from the LG GDK phone system to the PC that NetPBX software is installed and running on.

However, the LG GDK doesn't have SMDR output enabled by defalut, so you will need to speak with your phone maintainer to enable the SMDR logs for outgoing, incoming and abandoned calls.

Installing NetPBX

The LG GDK phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus, you will first need to install NetPBX software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Configuring TIM Plus

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on to TIM Plus as usual and apply the following settings:

1. Click on the Directory tab.
2. Select the site configured during the setup wizard and clickProperties.
   
   
3. Within the Site Properties window, select LG GDK from the PBX model drop-down list.
4. In the Connection method field select No connection required from the drop-down list.
5. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.

These instructions should assist in configuring your LG GDK to work with TIM Plus. If you are not familiar with PBX configuration, please contact your system maintainer.

The LG GDK by default has the SMDR output disabled. For the SMDR to be outputted you will need to speak to your LG GDK maintainer. They will need to enable SMDR logs for outgoing, incoming and abandoned calls.

Configuring TIM Plus

Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your LG GDK:

1. Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.
2. Click on the Directory tab.
3. Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click Propertiesor create a new site and click Properties.

4. Within the Site Properties window, select LG GDK from the PBX model drop-down list.
5. In the Connection method field select No connection required from the drop-down list.
6. Finally, click on the Save button.
