
TIM Plus needs to know your email server settings in order to send out scheduled reports, call alarms, missed call notifications, and system alerts.

Enter your email server settings, being advised by the table below. You may need to consult your network administrator.
Fild name | Description |
---|---|
Server host & port | This is the address for your company's mail server. Enter in an IP address or DNS name and the port which should normally be 25. |
Greeting name | Many mail servers require a Greeting name to identify the computer that is sending the email. In most cases, this will be the network name of the server running TIM Plus. |
"From" address | This value should be set to the email address of the user that emails will appear to be sent from. |
Type | If your mail server requires authentication, select the method it uses from the list below. Choose None if authentication is automatic or not used. |
Username | Enter in the username of the SMTP authentication. |
Password | Enter in the password of the SMTP authentication. |
Test address | To verify your e-mail settings, enter an address to send a test email to. |
