Siemens OpenOffice - IP connection

These instructions help you configure your Mitel 3300 phone system to work with TIM Plus. Contact your system maintainer if you are not familiar with the configuration of your PBX.

Connection Type

  TIM Plus establishes a TCP connection to this PBX.

Configure the SMDR output

Follow the steps below to enable your phone system to send the SMDR output via IP:

1. Log into the Siemens OpenOffice web portal.
2. Click on Expert Mode
3. Click on Basic Settings
4. Click on the Call Charges menu options.
5. Click on Call Charges - Output Format and tick SMDR options shown below:
   
   
6. Under CDR System options, change the Output Formatto LAN-TCP-Client
7. Enter the IP Address of the Machine with TIM on
8. Specify a Port number
9. Configure TIM to a listening connection.
