These instructions should assist in configuring your LG iPECS to work with TIM Plus. If you are not familiar with PBX configuration, please contact your system maintainer.

Connection type | Serial Output or IP: If you have configured the LG iPECS to send the SMDR information via a serial connection, you will need to directly connect a serial cable from the LG iPECS to the PC that NetPBX is installed and running on. |

IP method | If the LG iPECS is configured to send the SMDR information via TCP/IP, the actual installation of TIM Plus can be anywhere on the network that the PBX is connected to. The LG iPECS will need to be configured to output SMDR data via TCP/IP so TIM Plus can connect to it. TIM Plus will connect to the LG iPECS on TCP port 23. |
Configuring your SMDR
The LG iPECS by default has SMDR output disabled. Below you will find the programming number codes and the fields that need to be configured.
SMDR Attributes (PGM 177)
Within this window you need to set Info/On-line SMDR to Telnet 1. This will allow TIM Plus to connect to the LG iPECS on TCP port 23 to receive SMDR data.

Configuring TIM Plus
Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your LG iPECS:
- Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.
- Click on the tab.
- Go the the point in the Directory where you need to add the PBX Object and add a PBX with the name 'LG iPECS'.
- Left-click on it and select .
- From the LG iPECS from the PBX model list. settings tab select
- In the Establish TCP connection to PBX from the Connection method list. tab select
- In the Host field enter the IP Address of your LG iPECS.
- In the Port field enter in 23.
- Leave the Username and Password fields blank.
- In the IP script field select Generic Simple from the drop-down list.
- Finally, click on the button.
